I haven't posted on my blog since February! Well, it's the perfect time to post something now because I came back from a whirlwind of a trip a couple weeks ago. I had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Germany, Austria, and Czech Republic for three weeks in July. I went with my wonderful wife, Jill, and our family Robin, Jason, Wesley, and Milo. It was such a treat to share our traveling experiences with people that are so close to us!
Naturally, as a photographer, I took a whole ton of photos. I am posting one photo every day, or two, to my main social media platforms, but I thought I should use this blog post to shine light on something I couldn't turn my camera away from: the windows and doors of Germany, Austria, and Czech Republic.
I call this trip a whirlwind because we visited the following places (in only 20 days!): Berlin, Würgau, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen, Füssen, Salzburg, Hallstatt, and Prague!
Yes, 11 places in total! It was a fantastic trip of great company, amazing food, out of this world scenery, and lots & lots of beer! Take a look at the wonderful detail, colours, and character of the wonderful doors and windows that these places had to offer!
